I had an absolute blast spinning tunes last night at Ghettoblaster/Bar 107; what the evening lacked in terms of July warmth was more than compensated for by the heat generated on the dance floor by the assorted revelers, and the hot wax spun by Jorge Onion, Anthony, and one DJ Silky D, who was making his downtown LA debut on the wheels of steel.
Below is a playlist of the 45s I spun during my two sets last night. I apparently passed my DJ audition, so if you missed out on all the funky fun, it looks like you'll have a chance to redeem yourself on a semi-regular basis in the upcoming months...
