Well, that's a real relief. The hospital called today to say that nothing's wrong with Shadow (pictured above by "his" window in Palm Springs), other than the aforementioned heart murmur — though thankfully his heart does not appear to be malformed or enlarged at all — and a possible minor infection, which will be determined once his culture comes back tomorrow. They said that his freakout was probably stress related, though the little guy's life is a far from stressful one. Then again, he's a sensitive dude, so it's entirely possible that he'd internalized some of considerable free-floating stress that Carole and I have been dealing with as of late...
In any case, thanks to all of you for your nice thoughts, kind comments and good wishes; we really appreciated them. The little munchkin is flopped contentedly on my office carpet as I write this, and I think I'm gonna join him.
Whoo Hooo.
Maybe the earthquake stressed the little guy out.
But whatever, he is fine, and that is good!

I'm so glad. Don't you just feel so much better now?

You know it, man!

Oh man, I know that comes as a huge relief. I hope everyone involved will deal with their stress soon!

Great news, man... Coming from the "father" of three pups and one cat that I can't stand to be away from, I was keeping you and the little guy in mind... Glad he's all right!
