Reincarnation?

My sister Rebecca sent me the above pic of Raymond Chandler and his cat Taki, which is running in the current issue of L.A. Citybeat. "Doesn't she look a little bit like Kyuko?" she asks, and I dare say she looks a lot like our dark lady. Chandler apparently liked to refer to Taki as "my secretary," given her propensity for sitting on his manuscripts while trying to revise them; Kyuko, on the other hand, likes to curl around my laptop while I'm working — and will often hang out there until I'm finished with a particular piece, making sure that I get it done. She also enjoys a little trashy reading on the side...
