After what has seemed like an eternity (for me, at least), my new book, Stars and Strikes: Baseball and America in the Bicentennial Summer of '76 finally hits the streets today. I am over the moon about it, to say the least — it's like Christmas and my birthday rolled up in one star-spangled package!
The book is available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble (in eBook editions, as well), and fine indie booksellers everywhere. If your local bookstore doesn't carry it, they can special order it for you from St. Martin's Press.
