In other news, it's only a few days until the NYC paperback release party for Big Hair & Plastic Grass, which happens Tuesday June 12 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at Manitoba's, which is located at 99 Ave. B (between 6th and 7th streets) in the East Village. Copies of the book will be on sale at the event, but if you can't make it and still want to get a signed and personalized copy or three, all you've gotta do is email your contact information (before 12 noon EST on Sunday, June 10) to Harriet at bookedbyharriet@hotmail.com. She will email or call you back regarding personalization (let her know if you have a favorite team or player from the era), payment and shipping.
