That was the year I tried to collect the entire Topps baseball card set by doing it the "right" way buying the packs w/the gum. I knew every team and every player. My brown Schwinn bike with classic banana seat and baseball mitt looped on handle bars got a lot of mileage that summer pedaling from drug stores to luncheonettes to ball fields and town pool. Great memories - looking forward to book.
